

Henry was the second child of Charles W. Donahoe and Janet Sheahan of Seattle, Washington. He was born on January 12, 1932 at the Swedish Hospital.
Henry was an unique individual - a true Renaissance man with a love for history, art, opera, and languages. Henry also loved to travel and enjoyed many trips with his wife. Henry also relished going with his cousin and friends to plays, dinners, teas, gardens, concerts, parties, drives thoughout the Eastern states and especially the Met.
Prior to working in the banking business, Henry graduated from Princeton University, then enlisted in the Navy. Following active military service, he went on to work on his family’s ranch in Montana. His love of the outdoors stayed with him, and his gentleness with animals always amazed his wife. He had such a gentle soul and all kinds of animals loved him. He was also a great horseman. His character, dignity, and class made him a very interesting and special person. He was a true gentleman.
Henry leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Maria; his sister-in-law, Patricia (brother, Charles, deceased); his nieces, Ann, Kathy, Mary; and his nephew, Thomas. He is also survived by two grandnieces, two grandnephews, and his many cousins on both sides of the family, who all loved him. He was very proud of his entire family.
Henry’s final resting place with be at the Donahoe Family plot at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Seattle.
No Memorial has been scheduled at present, although there will be one in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
