Heraldo Frausto

Heraldo Leaños Frausto Passed away on a Tuesday evening, April 7th, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 22, 1949 in Villanueva, Zacatecas, Mexico to Atanacio Frausto & Leonor Leaños. He grew up in Mexico City until he met his loving wife and moved to San Francisco, CA to pursue the American Dream. Married for 34 wonderful years to his loving wife Raquel Muro, he was a gracious, husband, father, grandfather, godfather, and a friend. He was survived by his wife Raquel, his children Erick, Jacqueline, Jocelyn, and grandson Adrian. He lived a great life waiting for his retirement later this year to spend time with family, travel, and enjoy the riches of life.

He spent most of his life dedicated in the hospitality area, working at Fior d'Italia in the pantry and at The Fairmont San Francisco hotel as a Houseman. Heraldo was very cultural and progressive. He enjoyed various ancient and modern cultures, art, literature, and music from Andrea Bocelli to Tony Bennett. He was a volunteer firefighter in Mexico, studied to become an electrician, studied the English language, and devoted his time in taking the family on adventures to explore our country and heritage. He was such a caring and giving person that he became an organ donor and gave the gift of life to others. He also gave a lot to charities around the world helping children and families in need. He was a great father, always believed and had strong values in education and responsibilities along with his cultural Mexican beliefs.

He will be forever in our hearts and truly missed, even though he is no longer with us we know he is in a better place and will be watching over us. We love you!

Heraldo Leaños Frausto falleció la tarde de Abril 7, 2015 rodeado por su amada familia. Nació Septiembre 22, 1949 en la cuidad de Villanueva, Zacatecas, México, de Atanacio Frausto y Leonor Leaños. Se creó en la ciudad de México hasta que conoció su esposa Raquel y se vinieron a San Francisco California para perseguir el sueño americano. Casado por 34 maravillosos años con su esposa Raquel. Fue un amable esposo, papa, padrino, abuelo, y amigo. Fue sobrevivido por su esposa Raquel, hijos, Erick, Jacqueline, Jocelyn, y nieto Adrian. Vivió una gran vida esperando su retiro este año para estar más junto con su familia y disfrutar de la riqueza de vida, pero dios ya no se lo permito.

La mayor parte de su vida la dedico en el campo de hospitalidad, trabajando en el restaurant Fior d' Italia como un chef y en el hotel Fairmont de San Francisco, como un housemen. Heraldo fue muy cultural y progresivo. Le encantaban varias culturas antiguas y modernas, el arte, la literatura, y la música de Tony Bennett y Andrea Bocelli. Aparte de esto, era un voluntario bombero, estudio adelante y aprendió el Ingles, y dedico su tiempo en viajar con la familia y llevarlos tras las aventuras a explorar el país y nuestra herencia. Fue una persona tan cariñosa y dada que fue una persona donante de órgano y le dio el regala de vida a dos personas. También dio a muchas organizaciones a través del mundo ayudando a familias y niños. Fue un gran papa que siempre creo y tuvo fuertes creencias en la educación, responsabilidades, y su cultura Mexicana.

Siempre estará en nuestros corazones y realmente extrañándolo, aunque no estará con nosotros ya sabemos que estará en un lugar mejor y nos estará cuidando. Te quiermos mucho.
