Jean was a San Franciscan native and loved all things San Francisco. Jean was an avid reader, an intellectual, and a lover of music. Jean loved exploring and experiencing the arts, concerts, plays, museums, Jean went to them all.
Jean shared herself as a senior peer counselor, working the suicide prevention hotline, and being a caring and devoted friend. Her gifted prose, ready smile, and hearty laugh will be deeply missed.
Mostly Jean loved her family. She will be profoundly and forever missed by her daughters, Karen, Kay, and Karla, her granddaughter Julia and her husband Zac, her great-granddaughter Ella, and her son-in-law Arturo.
