I met Judy in 1972, we both were employed at Sargent & Lundy Engineers. We had some wonderful conversations, played tennis, and attended some White Sox games together. We even hitchhiked to Milwaukee for a White-Sox-Brewers game. We last talked in 1980, but a few years ago, re-connected via mail.
I still remember telling me about her home in Mishawaka, In, attended Penn High School prior to going to Indiana U.
I'm sorry for your loss

I can't put into words how sad I was to hear of Judy's passing.  It's hard to imagine a trip to California now and not seeing her and sharing travel stories and hearing about all her interesting exploits especially of her adopted country, Italy which she loved so.  Although I didn't know her as long as the other writers, I was always comfortable in her presence, as if we knew each other for years.   My sincerest sympathy to her friends who grieve with me, especially her sister Joy.    Rest in peace dear friend.

I was a volunteer English teacher's assistant with Judy in Puglia, Italy in 2006.  We became friends teaching and touring, and we remarkably stayed in close contact through all these years.  My companion and I live in North Carolina and visit California wine country every year, and we always looked forward to meeting Judy and catch up on our respective travels, families, work and volunteering.  She was such a delight; always upbeat and positive, open to exploring shops and restaurants, and just a wonderful person to be around.  I will definitely miss her and will toast her memory often this year and every year I'm  out west.

I am so sad to hear that my dear friend Judy has passed away. I worked with her at United Airlines. After our United days, a group of us continued to get together for “girls night out” dinners and plays. When I think about her, the first thing I remember is her sweet smile and happy personality. She was full of energy and always had a positive attitude and kind heart. Her passing is a huge loss for all of us. My sincere sympathy and prayers for all who are grieving.

For all of us who have known her from our good old days at United, we were particularly blessed to have worked along side a friend. Even after we left UAL we remained dear friends for over 30 years sharing life's journeys. Her joyful spirit, friendly nature and loving heart will live on in our fond memories forever.
