Naji was a San Franciscan, born at SF General Hospital, and raised in North Beach. A die hard 49ers fan, a great cook, and a bringer of huge hugs and massive bouquets of roses. His smile could light a whole room. He loved being with family.
A member of Laborers International Union No. 261, he was a skilled landscaper, construction laborer, and all around handyman.
He was predeceased by his father Donald Franklin of Louisiana and mother Gloria Penner of Canada. He is survived by his fiancée Brandy Yrigoyen and daughter Willow; his children Naji Franklin Jr, Izaiah Franklin and Natalia Franklin and his former wife Leanne Franklin; his siblings Shane Franklin, Gary Franklin, Rodney Franklin, Mekia Franklin, and Monica Franklin; his foster family Denise & Tom McCarthy and siblings David McCarthy, Pia Hinckle, and Hilary Hinckle; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends in the Bay, NorCal, Los Angeles, and Baton Rouge.
He will be greatly missed by us all. Go Niners!
