Roberta Scott (Sister) Watson

Roberta retired from the US Department of Defense, Alameda Naval Air Station, Alameda, CA where she was employed for over 30 years. Roberta was a member of the Carpe Diem Club for over 60 years. During her membership she held many offices and chaired numerous committees. Roberta was also a member of the National Counsel of Negro Women for many years.

She is survived by former spouse, Lorenzo Watson of Emeryville, daughter Lynnell Withers Terrell of Fayetteville, GA, cousins, Thomas Gathers of Oakland, CA, Ruth and Natha Mitchell of Chicago, IL and Khadijah Muhamad of Atlanta, GA, close friend Alma Jean Searcy of Los Angeles, CA and a host of very dear friends and distant relatives.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Luella Washington and daughter Loretta Watson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10am with a funeral service at 11am at HALSTED N.GRAY-CAREW & ENGLISH, 1123 Sutter St., San Francisco followed by interment at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma, CA.
