Ronald A. Mirkovich

Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Frederica and his children, Ronald Jr. (Chris), Kevin (Paula), Denise (Brian) and Gary (Maria). Ronald will also be devotedly remembered by his eight grandchildren, Anthony, Lauren (Josh), Sean, Kelly, Stephanie, Nicholas, Devin and Samantha, one great grandchild Grayson and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Kuzma and Mary Mirkovich and his sister Phyllis Mlinarich.

Ronald was born to a fishing family in Seattle, Washington and grew up on Bainbridge Island before moving to San Francisco at a young age. He graduated from Galileo high school and was a member of the Local Union 38 for over 50 years.

Frederica and Ronald met at the age of 13 and married in 1955.

Ronald was an avid member of many clubs and organizations including YMI, Knights of Columbus, The Godfather’s, Megare Augusta and the Croatian Slovenian Hall. He was a kind, loving and hardworking man who was devoted to his family.

Friends may visit Friday,July 28, 2017 10:00 a.m at St. Elizabeth’s Church, 459 Somerset Street, S.F .followed by Vigil and Mass at 10:30am. Private entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to your favorite charity.
