I am shocked and saddened to hear that Susan has passed. I heard from an old friend yesterday who told me. I worked under her in Tiernan’s in Boston for years and those few years are some of my happiest. She was such a hard working woman, strong and compassionate. Rest in peace Susan. 

Crossing the Bar

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,

Too full for sound and foam,
