My thoughts and prayers are with you Andre now and in the days ahead.

We are so sad that Tripp has moved on to fish new waters. We knew her from her time at SF Waldorf School, and she and Paul shared a love of fly fishing. She was always so warm and big-hearted and authentic. She brought a healthy dose of Southern unpretentiousness to SF. We'll miss her, and we send our love and sympathy to Andre and the whole family. Farewell to my dear friend of 40+ years. I will miss your voice, your bright spirit, your vitality and enthusiasm, your humor.  Now who's going to help me solve all the problems with health care in the US?   Hugs and love to Andre and her family, from me and David xoxoxo Pat McAndrews Rung

We wrote, edited and dedicated a book to the past presidents of the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club here in San Francisco. Its an anthology of the clubs finest literary offerings.Tripp's offerings grace note its pages.  

"They were the glue that binds this club together"

She served for three years with honor and distinction.

This is no small thing, a president of a large voluntary club wears many hats.Tripp established a high degree of esprit de corps among the membership, worthy of the Lafayette Escadrille Valour medal.

Her legacy will remain her all encompassing history project that remains unpolished. Whomever elects to march forward with her good works will certainly receive her blessings from above.

She was that one in a million.

i will think of Tripp each sunday morning at 755a when she & andre would walk into St. Mary's  and sit in the pew in front of me. she had such a gentle and deep spirit about her. i will miss that and our chats about Alabama.it's hard to believe she is no longer here with us any longer.
