Born on October 7, 1913, in San Francisco to Maria and Joseph Crivello, Virginia was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, great great aunt and godmother.
She was a lifelong member of SS. Peter and Paul Parish and the Madonna de Lume Society.
Her large extended family meant everything to her and she was a mother-like presence to her many nieces, nephews and godchildren, across the Bay Area and in Monterey. Virginia's strength, wisdom and enduring love will be greatly missed.
Virginia is survived by her many nieces and nephews including Rose Billante, Frank Billante (Elizabeth), Torre Carstensen, Janet Pagano (Lester) and James Pagano (Lani) and numerous godchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband, Filippo Billante, her brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews, including Marie Adams, Anna Truett, Lenore Billante and Sebastian Billante.
Our thanks to Elena MacNicoll and Gloria Digno for the wonderful care they gave Virginia. We are deeply grateful for the love they showed her.
