My Tia Carmen always made me feel loved from the second I walked through her door, she always greeted me with the sweetest hello, and had the hugest smile on her face, asking me about everything I was doing in life, she made you feel cared about, loved. This was always, since I was little girl, till now as an adult. She was always proud of my accomplishments, I wish I let her know how much that meant to me. The memory I will hold close to me, besides all the wonderful ones I have, is the last time I spent time with her.. she taught me how to make one of my favorite dishes of hers, I learned step by step and she was so proud of me when I made my own, with that huge smile and laughter of hers. I’m so happy we shared that moment together, I’m so happy she saw how important it was to me to learn from her.
Te amo tia, te mantendré cerca de mi corazón para siempre, te extrañaré.
