We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother (Tita), and Great Grandmother Carmen Raymond. She left behind her son Dante, daughter Tania, Granddaughter Yesenia, and two Great Grandchildren Peter and Julian.
She was born in California on October 19, 1925. Her family settled in Death Valley Junction until approximately six years old. They then relocated about a half hour down the highway, to settle in Furnace Creek Ranch where she continued her schooling.
At approximately nine years old, her family once again made a transition, this time to Abasolo Guanajuato Mexico, where she continued her schooling until the age of 19 -20. She and her sister Alicia, decided to move back to California together, and settled in the Los Angeles area.
She was short in stature, but strong internally and spiritually. She was a devout Catholic who was a woman of strong faith. She carried a tremendous love for others, whether relatives, friends, or strangers.
She will be sadly missed by many who she had touched their hearts in one way or another.
To the Lord in the high Heavens, open your gates. We therefore pass Carmen Raymond's spirit to meet up and live eternally with all her family and friends who have preceded her in this journey. May our precious Carmen rest in peace forever and ever in everlasting life.
AMEN
