Daisy was born on November 10, 1954, to her parents, Myint Swe and Aye Mi, in the Southeast Asian country of Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. There, she graduated from the University of Yangon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry.
In 1984, Daisy immigrated to Southern California and went on to marry Daniel Wong, having two children together, Donald and Darlia.
After retiring in 2018 from a nearly 30-year career at the County of Los Angeles, Daisy enjoyed spending more time with her family, practicing meditation, watching Korean dramas, and tending to her rose garden.
Daisy is predeceased by her father, Myint Swe, and brother, BoBo Swe. She is survived by her mother, Aye Mi; her two sisters, Khin Thida Myint Swe and Hnin Thida Myint Swe; her brother, Ta Tine Hwme; her husband, Daniel; and their two children, Donald and Darlia.
