Rest In Peace Damian. My sincere condolences to all family members. I knew Damian in grade school. We weren’t friends because he had Dwayne Stark as a buddy back then. Dwayne was a bully that didn’t let up on me until I showed him I had enough one day. If it weren’t for Dwayne, I think Damian and I might have been friends. From the looks of this beautiful video, seems he turned out to be a good man. Rest now Damian, for you are safe in God’s memory and you will live again after the resurrection in paradise. Acts 24:15. I hope he didn’t suffer. Peace to you all. 

Wow...no words to explain how I feel right now ...I met Damion threw my best friend Luis Chavez 22years ago I was 18 probably at the time. I was going threw a rough patch in my life and got kicked out and would have be homeless if it wasn't for him. He took me in when I had no one and always u to tell me you can do better in life , your smart, don't short change your self. Man my life was good just to have knew him. See you when I get there my friend. Much love and respect

I want to send my condolences to all of the Rodgers family.  My memories of Damien were when he was very young because I used to live down the street and babysat Stewart, Damien and Rosine (Margaret came later).   May Damien Rest In Peace with Stewart!

I have many fond memories of Damian, Stuart and all the Rodgers family!  I will always remember Mr. Rogers yelling down the street in his Scottish accent Damian Rogers get in this bloody house before I wrap you one!  It always makes me laugh.  Damian and I played together all the time.   We were always trying to tag along with Stuart and Tim our older brothers we all had so much fun and so many good time as kids.  I remember my Mother Elide who has been gone now 26 years taking us all to go swimming at the Rosemead Pool!  I am sure I have some pictures I can share when I find them.  I am so glad I could see you all at the Rosary.  I will keep you all in my prayers especially Damian and Stuart who have passed away and left us all with so many fond memories. Damian will be missed I was lucky enough to know him through the crazy times we all speak so fondly of. And to his little cousins all those stories are absolutely true I witnessed and survived to keep mum about them. See you on the other side brother.

Amusing, caring, ordinary, and the last of the famous Rebels of the Rosemead era, this is how I remember Damian. He was a fun and good hearted soul, who loved his circle of friends and enjoyed making them laugh. Damian was always ready for some mad adventure, often without knowing where he would end up. One time we ended up at a B-52s concert in Huntington Beach. I heard my first TSOL song with Damien and I can go on about many more memories. I never understood why people feared him because if you knew him you would understand he was a straightforward gentle soul who was ready to help and protect you.  A rebel with a good heart! Damien was happy left to his own devices hence he was happy being him. He used to say “Do what you want, and you can’t go wrong.” Although, I had not seen Damian in a few years it’s difficult to imagine him not being here and I will always cherish the memories. Farewell Damian you gentle soul. A soul that brought happiness to many, and whose legacy will live on forever. “Long Live Rosemead’s Famous Rebel-Damian Rodgers!”

Damian was a great friend!  He will truly be missed! 

Damian gave my family two wonderful memories. First (not counting his crazy stories growing up) , he invited my husband Jon and our children Summer, Renee, Leila and Roland to his house for the BEST FIREWORK SHOW EVER. You could not get a show like this except at his house. Non-stop for like 6 maybe 8 hrs of entertainment. The other was giving us the amazing puppy Angus a.k.a Petey. Damian sent Jon home with a laundry basket and a puppy inside. Take your dog now he doesnt listen and always sneaking out of his box. Angus looked like Jake but with a patch over his eye. Damian said the dog was hardheaded but Angus loved Damian. Everytime Damian pulled up in his car Angus at 104lbs would pee like a puppy wagging his tail around in circles so fast making Damian laugh. Even a dog knows a person with a warm heart, willing to help you, could make you laugh till your sides hurt and always had a good time hanging around with till the sun came up. He will be missed.

Our brother Damian was an amazing guy.  I'm going to miss everything about him, especially his sense of humor.  Even in his sickest days he was always making me and my sister laugh with his one liners.   He was a genuine, loyal and would give you the shirt off of his back. We had a bond that not many siblings have.  He always protected us and we always looked out for him.  We are going to have a huge void in our lives now that he's gone.  Until we meet again let God hold you in the Palm of His hand❤We love you Dame💔

I always looked forward to seeing Damian at family gatherings. My six siblings and I would show up and immediately start bugging him, and he never didn't have time for us. Growing up, he was kind of a legend to us. My mother would tell these outrageous stories about growing up with him and we would tell those stories to our friends and brag about our crazy, bad ass cousin, Damian. I'll miss you, Damian. We all will.

We never had a dull moment when You were with us and even though we have not been close for a couple of years all of those fun silly times are cherished. Love You

It's impossible to pick a favorite memory of my uncle Damian. There are so, so many to choose from, especially from all the years he spent with with my mother and me in the house on Scott Street. I couldn't begin to express how lucky we count ourselves to have shared that time with him.
Uncle, you made our lives better. You made us better. We love you and we will always love you.

Damian's family owned a Irish Pub I worked at and Damian would come in from time to time to play a few games of pool.  He always wanted to pay for his drink or his game and I would have to tell him his sisters would kill me if I let him pay and he would just laugh.  He had a smile that would light up the room and he was always so nice. I was sorry I missed the trip to New Orleans with him and his sisters I'm sure it would have been a trip to remember with those 3 all together!!! Damian you will be missed by your parents, sisters, children, friends and everyone you knew.  But that light and joy you brought to people will always be remembered.  Rest in peace and we will see you on the other side.

I’ve known Damian most of my life. As teenagers we would often find ourselves at the Rodgers home on Sundays morning feeling  much better than we should’ve.  Always a mixture of Damian’s friends and Roe’s. We would all joke and laugh and make fun of one another. Those were the best days! However, my fondest memory of Damian was a trip we took to Roserito. There were a bunch of us there.  We went out clubbing, drinking, and dancing. When we got back one night, I had the brillant idea of going out to the beach and listening to the waves. Of course everyone else thought I was nuts and went to sleep. But Damian, being the protective friend to his little sisters friend, wouldn’t let me go alone in Mexico. That night Damian and I sat in the sand listening to the waves, and talking.  I’m not exactly sure how long we sat there,  but I remember we both laughed and I know I cried and laughed some more. I always felt a brotherly love for Damian, but especially that night.  Good night my friend, until we chat again on the sand. I love you. 

Some of my greatest memories of high school involved  Damian. He was an amazing spirit. So full of joy and laughter.  I remember having several deep and often hilarious conversations with Damian over the course of our friendship.  One of those conversations, sitting at his parents kitchen table, lead us to the conclusion that one of the kids we knew growing up was soo crazy that he could beat up our dads. Damn... we laughed at that thought for hours.  So many memories of the sound of his laugh and smile. He was definitely a badass as a young man but he could also be one of the sweetest dudes you'd ever met.  Such souful kindness. Although we were only close friends for a few years, his friendship left a permanent mark on me. I am grateful to have known Damian.
