My uncle Danny was the one who taught me to explore...I remember going to Chavez Ravine before Dodger Stadium was even there, driving around Los angeles, and the way he would call me Vivi. I am so lucky to have had you in my life. I will always love my Uncle Danny!

I remember the time when uncle Danny wanted to buy me a motorcycle when I was a kid, but my parents wouldnt let him, I thought he was the coolest uncle for wanting that for me. I always thought of my Uncle Dan as a class act. And he was. I have fond memories of christmases we spent together and dodger games he took us to. I am so thankful I was able to visit him and tell him that I loved him very recently. 
He will be missed, But I am confident when we meet again it will be under perfect circumstances, until then, I love you Uncle Danny.

The Ruelas family extends its condolences to all the Russell family. I have not seen Mr Russell since I was 18 years old and in High School with David. Mr Russell made a lasting impression on me.  He was a very kind and respectfull person that made me feel that he was interested in my success in the world.  He offered good advice and made me laugh.  God bless you Mr Russell. Xavier Ruelas.
