As we approach 9 months since the last time I saw your smile or heard your voice I still continue to miss you so much.
Your words of advice are no more so I have had to do a lot of soul searching and figuring stuff out myself.  It hasn't been easy but I guess it really never was. It was just more bearable to get through it when I had you to talk to.
You can see from up above Anthony is doing well and I continue to make good my promise to keep in touch with him even if only through e-mails...  He is well and will be a new Grandpa this October to Vania...  
With death comes a new promise of Life which is to welcome a new bundle of joy.  I am sure this baby will give Anthony as much joy in having a child around as it was for our own grandparents. He will be the best granpa ever, how can he not be?  He would have learned from the best and from the childhood he had.
So again, although you are gone you are far from forgotten by me.  I feel you every morning when I awake and I find you in my dreams when I am most troubled.  So other than sharing a hug, a cup of coffee or lunch at Denny's I continue to believe in my faith that we will someday all be together again only this time in a pain free eternal life.
For those who read this be it 9 seconds from the time Aunt Stella passed or 9 months or 9 years I continue to miss her horribly but I've learned to move forward for those who are still here.

Today is 2 weeks and 1 day since you left us here to be with our Lord.  Although I find joy at the fact you suffer no more and you are among family I am selfish in missing you.

Anthony and I continue to get through another day, Anthony by doing what he must at the house and I by returning to work.  We both feel as long as we are busy we can get through another day.  It's the nights which I find the hardest to get through...  I wake up at 1am or 2am unable to sleep, awaken by your voice and the pain you felt those final days.  I continue to question did we do everything in our power to make things comfortable for you? I have to convience myself we did.

Time will heal the pain but not even time will fill the void you left in my heart.  

I miss you so very much Aunt Stella that it is truly by the Grace of God that I continue to breath...

mom and grandma, new years eve,Christmas, just so many more especially

Aunt Stella thank you for the memories and thank you for being there to talk to when my dear father Ruben Hernandez your brother passed away. My daughter will always cherish you taking part in her Quncenera as her madrina for her bible. She chose you for your strong faith in the Catholic church and in the blessed mother. Her friends were so sorry to hear of your passing because as young ambitious young latina women hearing you talk about your youth and life was such an inspiration to them. You will be truly missed by the five Hernandez children and their families, but you will never be forgotten. Much love to you my dear lady please give everybody hugs and kisses from us love and God's blessings always!!!

Saying Good bye was as difficult as i knew it would be.
I lost my mom at 6 months of age but you and the Grandparents took me in and gave me the most wonderful life. You were my mom and i feel the pain as such.
I know with time the pain will ease but how I feel now is as real and the same as when i loss Grandpa. I guess because the way you loved me was the same as the way he loved me.
Trust Aunt Stella that I will look after Anthony as i know he will look after me, because the reality is all we have is each other as brother and sister.
Know this too Irma is a great wife who will stand strong with Anthony and his children will be there for him too.
So rest in the arms of our Lord and continue to watch over me that I will be a woman of faith.
Until my time comes I will never forget you and will continue to love you for who you have been for me.
