Frank R. Buccola, 85, of Temple City, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Pierina (Pat), daughters Linda Woosley, Kathleen Browning, Mary Mayne, and son Frank J. Buccola; grandchildren Fr. Cassian DiRocco, OSB, Travis Browning, Lauren Browning, Sam Thorne, Sophia Buccola and great grandson, Gabriel Browning, sisters Anna Money, Christine White and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Frank was born to Sam and Minnie Buccola on October 11, 1929 in El Moro, Colorado where he lived until moving to California with his family at the age of 16. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Los Angeles in 1946 and married Pierina Catania in 1948.

Frank's devotion to his wife and children was mirrored in his dedication to his friends and parish family at St. Luke's Catholic Church where he served as President of the Italian Catholic Federation (ICF), long time chairman of the Parish bazaar, Eucharistic Minister, Chairman of several fundraising events, head usher and founder of the ICF Scholarship Fund. Frank was a long time business owner of L&W Kitchens and Baths in San Gabriel.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 21 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Temple City. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday, April 20 at Pierce Brothers Mortuary, 1136 E. Las Tunas Dr., San Gabriel, CA 91776.
