Happy Birthday Grandpa! My favorite memory of you was that you never had a worry in the world of what others thought of you! You were a happy grandpa! You always made me laugh with all the things you would find and empty your pockets with. You found so much value in the things that would be meaningless to others, “just in case someone might need it” always thinking of others. Many memories I have had growing up I think my favorite was you flying here for my graduation and within a hour of being in Texas you pick up your suitcase and start heading downstairs from my moms house and we are all like where are you going and you say I’m going back home, and aunt Dora says “what? I don’t think so put your suitcase down we didn’t fly thousands of miles to Texas to turn around and go right back!” You”oh okay” it may not sound like a funny story but if you were there it was. I know you are happy smiling with aunt lily and grandma. It was so nice to see and talk to you before you went to be with the lord! We loved you and you will forever be missed.

Hi Pop,
First, Happy 90th birthday!!! God not only danced for you the day you were born but as a faithful servant, He welcomed you into his loving arms the day you left your earthly journey.

I can’t help but feel as though there were places to take you and adventures at our feet, for whatever reason they were not meant to be. One of my favorite memories is of taking you to the Griffith Park train yard! You lived and breathed your love for God and trains, which was evident that day. You were so excited and it was more my pleasure to bring that small amount of joy to you. It was that joy that brings a longing of wishing I had done more with you.

You will always be loved, cherished and missed...your son,
Carlos Gabriel Vidrios

I commend you, my dear Gabriel Gallardo Vidrios to almighty God, and entrust you to your Creator.

May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth.

May holy Mary, the angels and all the saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life.

May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace.

May Christ who died for you admit you into his garden of paradise.

May Christ, the true Shepherd, embrace you as one of his flock.

May he forgive all your sins, and set you among those he has chosen.

May you see your Redeemer face to face, and enjoy the vision of God, forever.

May you know how much you will be missed and are loved.

Wishing my family peace and comfort as we remember "Junky Grandpa" . He use to always pick up things he found along the way that someone might need later. Everyone would say "Grandpa we don't need that!" I find myself now keeping things I should throw away because someone might need it later. I will miss you Junky Grandpa, I will always have funny memories of you in my heart.
Love,
Your Granddaughter the first "Girl"
