Dr. Bailey ......... I was just thinking of you when I saw your obituary
that you passed away in February 2022. 
You were not only my favorite teacher at East Los Angeles College but also a friend. We both had an interest in History.
Thank you for your words of encouragement to continue my education. 
I transferred to Cal State Los Angeles and earned my B.A. degree in Political Science with a minor in history. You and I believed in equality and helping people who others would leave by the wayside.
Thank you for helping me purchase glasses when my eyesight went
bad just before Finals! I appreciated you kindness.
I will be making financial donations, in your Honor, to your Foundation at ELAC so that other students can get a helping hand.
Dr. Bailey --- you were an Angel on Earth. The Lord did a good job
when He created you. We can "catch up" when I see you in Heaven.
(Keeping my fingers crossed that I make it all the way to Heaven!)

Thank you Helen for being my second Mom! 
You are such an amazing Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma!  You never stopped loving♥️

Mrs. Miller, as everyone in the neighborhood new her by, defined what it meant to be a friend and neighbor. She watched us all grow up and I feel pretty lucky to have had her around all those years! 

Bubba taught swim lessons at the Y well into her 80's. I loved to listen to her stories about those kids. It always made her so happy. But the best memory was when she taught my own daughter how to swim.

We loved stopping at Bubba's place for a visit when we were in town. Addilyn and Owen  loved to play with her nesting doll collection. 

Our Bubba, I just can’t find words to express how much we love and miss you.
