Jerry Wayne Woods II

Jerry Woods II passed on July 28, 2013, at his home in Hemet, California. He is survived by his son, Jerry Woods III and two grandchildren, Madison and Carter of Michigan; his mother, Gerrie M. Woods of Eastpointe, Michigan; his father and stepmother, Jerry Woods Sr. and Sarrah Selby Woods, of Rosemead, California; three brothers, John, Fred, & Joey.

Jerry was happy sharing with life with Leah Howe for the past seven years. He also leaves behind one grandparent, Genevieve Polk, of Michigan along with numerous nieces and nephews, as well as aunts and uncles.

He was born November 11, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan. He attended school in Eastpointe, Michigan, prior to Rosemead High School.in California.

His career was in the construction industry, and logistics. He currently was West Coast Operations Manager for the Litmark Corporation of Jacksonville, Florida. He was an avid Detroit Lions fan and a big part of his pleasures was racing. Jerry, himself was an accomplished kart racer having won many championships and was a Grand National Champion with the IKF.

Jerry was a friend to all he met and enjoyed life to its fullest. He is and will be missed by all who knew him.
