Manuel Sylvester Garcia

Danny was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 15, 1937, to Sylvester and Manuela Enriquez. In 1955, he met Mary Lou Garcia, and they were married on August 29, 1958. Together, they raised five children. Throughout his professional life, Danny served his community with steady dedication and quiet pride, including ten and a half years with the City of Los Angeles.

At age 58, Danny suffered a stroke which led to his retirement. While he faced health challenges following a surgery two years ago, he remained a devoted cornerstone of our family. Danny Passed away at home on Wednesday April 22, 2026.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Garcia; his daughters, Dolores Pinon, Gloria Garcia-Roberts, and Diana Zugel; and his sons, Manuel “Bobby” Garcia and Anthony Garcia. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens Mortuary (1136 East Las Tunas Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776) on April 30, 2026.

Viewing: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM

Eulogy: 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM

Repass: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Repass will take place at the same facility immediately following the service.
