Margaret Reyes

Margaret Reyes, born on February 26, 1928, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 97. A resident of Temple City, California, Margaret was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many with her loving and disciplined nature.

Margaret moved to California in November of 1961 with her husband and three daughters. She was a devoted mother to her five daughters, Ruby, Susie, Rosie, Linda, and Rachel, and a stepmother to Jr and Gloria. Her family extended to include 15 grandchildren from her daughters, seven grandchildren from Jr and Gloria, and 27 great-grandchildren. She maintained close relationships with her nieces and nephews, who frequently kept in touch.

A woman of varied interests, Margaret enjoyed listening to a variety of music, playing on her iPad, reading posts on Facebook, and watching her great-granddaughter Deena play softball. She cherished the time spent with her great-grandchildren Atlas and Ezra, who visited her weekly and loved to help her.

Margaret was actively involved in her community through All Souls Catholic Church. She was a loving and disciplined parent who instilled positive morals, values, and a strong work ethic in her daughters. After her husband's passing, she lived for 35 years with her daughter Linda, helping to raise Linda's four children, Richard, Randy, Anthony "Justin," and Deena. Margaret became a beloved grandmother, often babysitting 14 out of her 15 grandchildren and offering them all the love she could.

A visitation will be held at Pierce Brothers Turner & Stevens Mortuary, located at 1136 East Las Tunas Drive, San Gabriel, CA 91776, on January 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same venue on January 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a committal service from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Margaret Reyes will be remembered for her loving nature, her dedication to her family, and her enduring legacy of kindness and strength.
