Marie Giordano

May 4, 1933 - May 11, 2012

Marie Giordano, 79, of San Gabriel, CA passed away May 11, 2012 as a result of her 3 year struggle with dementia. She was in the comfort of her own home and in the company of her entire family with some friends at her bedside when the good Lord asked her to join him around 8pm that evening. Marie was a devoted wife, loving mother and a 30 year dedicated executive administrative assistant with Jacobs Engineering in Pasadena, CA working right up to age 75.

With a love for ballroom dancing, Marie met her surviving spouse, Frank Giordano, through a mutual friend and ballroom dance instructor, Gene DeWald, in Pasadena, CA in 1955. In their very first encounter through their instructor's introduction to each other as dance partners, Marie and Frank's eyes connected immediately and the following year on October 13, 1956, Marie and Frank were married. From there, they went on to raise a family of four beautiful children.

Marie is survived by her loving and devout husband Frank Giordano, her first born and only daughter, Rita Wagner and her three sons; Joseph, Phillip and Frank Giordano.
