I have so many amazing memories of Aunt Sarah and Uncle Charlie coming to  stay with us at our home in Novato & Petaluma. They were two beautiful people with amazing spirits. Aunt Sarah had a way of lighting up the room where ever she was. I am so thankful to have had her in my life she was truly an inspiration to all of us . Aunt Sarah you will be greatly missed.

My Nana was 39 years old when I was born, her first grandchild.  Imagine that!  39!  When people would ask how old she was on her latest birthday,  she would say with a smile on her face that she was 39 years old. Then her eldest son  turned 40, and that was the end of that 39 forever birthday.  I think she really was 39 years young, never quite as old as her years would tell us.  She was young at heart.  What an inspiration she was, living life fully and spreading love around to all of us who were blessed to have known her.  I know she is making the angels laugh.  I  Love You Nana

Mom, I will celebrate your life for as long as I can repeat your stories.  Your humor will ring out from each page of the book in my mind and your beauty will decorate each page.  You had an amazing life and I thank God that I was able to be a part of it.  I blow you a kiss and I will love you for as long as the moon rises and the sun sets.

Nana raised me from the time I was born until I turned 11. So much of who I am and how I respond to things is from her. She really was a second mother to me. I love you and will miss you always. - Nati

Sarah Holland Rodriguez 

Born in El Paso, Texas, 11/19/15 and transitioned to Eternal Life 1/8/13, from natural causes. Daughter of Lucia Galvan and Jerry Hall. Long-time resident of Los Angeles County. Formerly married to the late Gus Salazar and survived by adoring children: Terry, Joaquin (Elizabeth) and Nancy; remarried and preceded in death by Charlie "Tati" Rodriguez. Predeceased, of blessed memory by loving son, Joe "Pookie." Beloved Aunt,Great/Great Great Grandmother- "Nana" to many; leaves many cherished friends. Family grateful to the caregivers of Covina Rehabilitation Center. Family suggests donations in Sarah's name to the American Cancer Society.

Sarah, it was such a pleasure being around you and your smiling face, always being so positive about everything.  You were fun to be around.  We will miss you.  Rest in Peace.
