Willa Morehart passed away peacefully at home with her family in attendance. She lived a full and most rewarding life, with a large and devoted family, numerous friends, and a range of interests and travels to many parts of the world.
Willa was most generous with her family, her friends, and others, making sure that each had opportunities for success and personal happiness. She embraced every day with humor, originality, and without affectation.
Willa also loved animals, caring for them, and devoting time and resources for their humane treatment.
Willa’s husband, Roger Lytle Morehart, passed away in 1989.
Willa is survived by her three children, William Y. Morehart, Thomas M. Morehart, and John L. Morehart, her many grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and her very dearest and long-time friend, Marty (Nello) Maitino.
