Armida Holguin, age 91, of San Jacinto, California passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Armida was born in El Paso, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Ramon Escudero and the late Caroline Gonzalez Escudero.
When she was 12 years old, she moved from El Paso, Texas to Redlands, California with her family and then moved to san Bernardino. Armida was a loving mother that enjoyed crocheting and planting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Rose Navarro, Beatrice Dimas and Hortensia Garcia; and her brothers, Oscar, Ramon Salmon, Epimenio, Francisco, and Guillermo Escudero, her sons Conrad Rey and Michael Rey.
Armida is survived by her husband Raymond Holguin; her daughter Karen Miranda; her son Christopher Rey; her son Jimmy Escajeda; her daughter Sandra Escudero; and her daughter Monica Rocha; 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Armida will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory, 165 West Seventh St., San Jacinto, CA 92583. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will be at 12:30 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92518.
