Joe Myers passed away in the comfort of his own home on July 27, 2025 at the age of 81. He moved to Hemet in 2023 after spending 35 years as a resident of Azusa,CA. Before retirement, he spent 33 years with the State of California Franchise Tax Board. He is survived by his wife, Dee Myers, of 43 years and all 7 children, Cassandra Myers of Banning, Joseph Myers of Covina, Jack Myers of Apple Valley, Christie Felgar of Hemet, Darrayl Felgar of Wrightwood, Sheila Haas of Hemet and Sonja Fulmer of Murrieta. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren,
Joe loved spending time outdoors. If he wasn't hiking or biking, he was square dancing or round dancing. He had a passion for stray animals which he demonstrated through his volunteer work with The Stray Cat Alliance and TNR Project of the San Gabriel Valley.
A graveside service for Joseph will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from 11:15 AM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
