Mrs. Adela Chou, born June 21, 1936, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in San Jose at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chou Foon, and her eldest son, Renato Chou.
She is lovingly survived by her sons Richard and Rise sun of the Philippines, and her youngest child, Rafael Chou of San Jose; her brother Hermogenes “Maning” Minoc; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
Adela worked at Komag Industries, where her dedication and hard work allowed her to retire with pride and serve as an example to her family. A woman of deep faith, generosity, and unwavering love, she believed strongly in the power of education and perseverance. Through her guidance and sacrifices, generations of her family were given opportunities to succeed and thrive.
She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt whose love and legacy will live on in all who knew her.
