You will be surely miss by all that knew you I remember many a day waiting on the school bus pitching pennys against the Kuzinich wall and you winning my lunch money and giving it back I know in this life I may not have shown it but I thought of your family often RIP my dear long time friend

My condolences to Adrian’s family. I remember him in high school as a very nice young man, a sharp dresser and always friendly to everyone. Rest in Peace my brother.

Adrian has been a father to me since 1987. He oversaw my education by conferencing with my teachers and advocating for me when school punishments were disproportionate to my misbehavior and distractions I caused in the learning environment. He never stopped encouraging me to do better and held me accountable. 

He gave me a sense of the importance of time by giving me my first wristwatch, coming to see about us every Friday—for more than two decades, telling me often how short our time on Earth actually is, and reminding me of how far I’d come over such  periods of time and ideas on effectively using what remaining time is left. 
Adrian gave me a living example of a man with a mind of his own through reading beyond headlines and  through thoughtful discussions of current events, trends, and changes in policies affecting us both directly and indirectly. 

I cannot enumerate every single good Adrian has done for me and my life but without him I would my certainly  fear the worst of outcomes and I am most grateful to the Creator for sending me a hero and a guide when I was desperate and needed one the most. 

The world and my life is now different without the light of Adrian’s presence, but his fingerprints and DNA cover my ideas and course through my conduct as we continue spinning around the sun, but from this moment in time and forward, without Him.  

Heartbreaking…

I love you Adrian (Ad-Dran), I always will.
