Akiko Ohara

Akiko “Aki” Ohara, age 99, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband Esom, son Glenn, daughters Darlene (Steve Maruyama), Ginger (Mark Kubo) and 2 grandchildren Shane Kubo (Lesley) and Sandra (Marco Ballestrasse) and 4 great-grandchildren Gabriel, Noah, Derek, and Matt.

During her retirement years, Aki enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and going to the casinos, camping, and fishing with her husband & family.

The family is not considering holding a service at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Kidney Fund.
