I attended school with Albert going back to when we were kids. He was always so polite, funny and shy at times. We did not spend much time around eachother as adults but would message eachother. When my Dad passed in December 2018, it was so hard. A few months later Albert lost his Dad and we were able to offer kind words of encouragement to eachother, we both took the losses hard and to have him as a friend in that time was immensely appreciated. Thank you Albert for being a true friend with a heart of gold. Your with your Dad now and I know you missed him. It's not goodbye my friend but see you again. To the family, my sincere condolences and prayers to you all.

Albert and I have been friends since Independence High school. We hung out almost everyday and used to breakdance with other friends in our crew almost every week. I had the opportunity for sleep overs while playing video games and mom made amazing Filipino food. As we grew older, we didn’t have a chance to hang out as much but maintained contact via social media. Albert was like a brother and his goofiness will be missed by us all! Aloha for now bro and see you when it’s time🤙🏽! May the force be with you young Luke Starkiller!

Albert always called me Mrs. Reyes in his quick way of speaking. In years passed, he and other friends would be at my house often raiding the refrigerator. They were a nice group of boys. He was always polite and kind. My son, Ryan, was very blessed having this delightful young man as a close friend. He will be missed.
