There are no words to describe such a strong, beautiful woman.  Despite everything that was thrown at her, she managed to conquer so much.  But she has left us and is at peace.  She will be missed.

It has been an honor and privilege to be part of Ms. Alice’s care during such a difficult time in her life. She was a very sweet, loving, and caring person who always welcomed everyone with her beautiful smile and kind heart. 

Ms. Alice had a gentle spirit and a strong personality that touched so many lives around her. Her warmth, friendliness, and compassion will always be remembered by those who had the blessing to know her. 

I am truly grateful to have cared for her and to have shared moments with such a wonderful person. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

Alice

In her lifetime Alice endured so much yet her faith in God never wavered.  This is what kept her going with such positivity and the belief this was her path.

She always stayed optimistic, hopeful and positive even when grappling with significant health challenges.   She didn’t dwell on the negative but looked for the silver lining.  She refused to give up.

She was one of the most genuine, confident and honest people I’ve ever known.  True to herself. She lived her life graciously, a social butterfly who embraced life with all she had.  I admired how fearlessly authentic  she was so secure in her own identity where so many of us often struggle with self doubt.

She always made us laugh and be grateful for life itself.  Every story was an adventure.  Alice didn’t take life or her time on this earth lightly, she lived, loved and laughed.  And if you were lucky enough she took you on that joyous ride with her.  

We will sorely miss Alice’s presence on this earth.  She was always present with you.  Alice was a powerful force with a spontaneous wit always clever, humorous and insightful for any situation. 

We send you off with much love Alice and know you are in your heavenly place.  You will always be in our hearts.

My heart is broken,  I’ve known Alice all her life.  Herlie was my best friend and I loved Alice like she was my own child. 
Alice was very kind and had a great personality, I will miss our phone calls but I know we will see each other again.

Alice was always so caring and loving to all of us kids growing up. Some of my favorite memories were Christmases at Uncle Tony’s — the laughter, family, and warmth she helped create made those moments unforgettable. She always made our gifts so memorable by putting together photos from the previous year and throughout the years, which made each Christmas feel so personal and special.

She was always a part of the family and had the pleasure of watching all of us grow up and eventually start our own families. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives. She will be deeply missed, but the love, memories, and traditions she gave us will stay in our hearts forever.

I had the pleasure of knowing Alice and even though our paths didn’t cross much and the friendship faded as our lives changed, she somehow made an impression on my life.  I am grateful to have known her and have witnessed her strength and courage during her last days of her life.  She was one to live life to the fullest and never give up on her dreams even when life threw her a curveball.  Her difficulties seemed to give her strength to live life on her terms and never stop loving and caring for others.  I have been touched by such a strong spirit as hers.  I hope to use that experience I had with Alice and apply that same drive to live life to the fullest no matter what obstacles there are in my way.  Her spirit will live on in me because of the loving person she is.  She will be missed by many.  God bless you Alice and I will see you on the great highway in the sky.

Rest in peace Comadre.  You will always hold a very special place in our hearts, and you will never be forgotten.  I will always remember our trips and how you made us laugh.  We will carry your stories with us forever.  Thank you Comadre for being exactly who you were.

My dearest  Al,
There is so much to say . We’ve been through a lifetime together and that I am so grateful and thankful for we’ve been through highs and lows and have remained close. I can’t even say you were a friend you’re way more than that. You are family. You’re a godmother to my Abel and treated Franky like he was your godson too.
I have so many beautiful memories we’ve made together as a family one in particular. When the boys were young, I wanted to decorate their room in a baseball theme. Money was kind of tight then, but of course Nina came to the rescue. You made them curtains for their room and matching comforters for their beds all made by hand  .It looked so beautiful , that’s one of the small examples of the big heart you had.
We had so many memories together you, Annette me, compa , and the boys .There’s too many to count, and I will treasure every single one  
You will never be forgotten you live in our hearts forever. I love you “8” I always will
