I miss my Dad. He taught me to work on cars, carpentry, landscaping (Only doing it is another story). When I was little I remember him coming home from work with his lunch pail in his hand and us waiting for him because he always left us something to munch on. My Dad being our protector. One day after he retired being home and bored (because he was always used to being on the go)I decided to get him up to do something to keep him busy. I asked him to go with me to the Food Bank to volunteer He refused he said he wasn't interested. Me knowing my Dad I made up a lie and told him some guy was bothering me. So he went with me to hunt down the imaginary guy. That was the beginning from that day on 5 to 7 days a week he did volunteer work. He helped a lot of people handing out food, and at Sacred Heart he helped prepare hot food to feed them as well. He may have had all girls but between him and my Mom they both taught us to be Strong Independent Woman. My Dad Loved Bingo, Never missed a day. Chatted with all the woman there. Was the life of the party. He is the Father to 5 daughters, the Grandfather to 8 grandkids and Great Grandfather to 16 great grandkids. He would sit in the front yard watching the cars go by some would stop to talk to him and people that walked by always stop to sit and talk with him for awhile. He knew the names of everyone. My Dad and I had our ups and downs but in the end he was my Dad and he'll always be in my heart and thoughts. He was always out numbered in the house Wife, daughters, female dogs and female birds but he was the King. There are so many many more stories about my Dad. To many to write but just want everyone to know There will Never be another like him Ever. My Dad was and will Always be the Best.

Missing my Dad.  Loving husband and father to 5 girls. He was a loving father who liked to teach us how to do everything he did (construction, auto repairs, etc).  He loved to tell jokes, laugh, dance and listen to music. He made friends easily wherever he went.  He volunteered for years until the age of 85 at Martha's Kitchen in San Jose, Santa Maria Urban Ministry in San Jose, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara. He was a Color Guard with Woodman of The World and also made sure to find and present the American Flag to those companies and others who needed to replace old ones.

He was a happy go lucky man. He loved to make people laugh and joked.  He did not have a mean bone in his body and was liked by everyone that came into contact with him.  He loved to play Bingo and always played his lottery tickets.
He was married for 65 years, raised five daughters and one grandson. I loved my dad and I will miss him dearly. Maria Rebecca Villarreal
