My special memory of Yaya is her sitting at her sewing machine whistling so Lelo the bird would whistle with her. She also loved having Cookie the dog in the window as she sewed. Yaya had a GOLDEN heart all the years we spent together she would faithfully attend mass everyday of the week. On Saturdays we would go shopping she loved going to Willow Glen Thrift store even if we didn't need buy anything it was our time together we enjoyed. Yaya you will forever stay in my heart with all the memories you left us. I love you. Diane

Tía Yaya,
I will never forget how selfless, kind, and loving you were. You always saw the beauty in every single person you came across. Your faith and love for Christ was evident in everything you did and the way you spoke. You were our model for unconditional love. Thank you for everything you were. You will be missed. I love you. I eagerly await the day we will see each other soon.
