Amelia passed away peacefully at home preceded by her husband Gerardo, “Jerry” and her son Gerardo Jr., “Frank”. She was surrounded by her children Judith, Elizabeth, Richard, Carlos, and Yolanda Zavala Molino when she died.
She was born in Palo Alto, and lived in Gonzalez, Cupertino, and San Jose, CA.
Amelia worked many years at Mann Packing Company in Salinas, CA. Later in San Jose, CA she worked as a PC Board Assembler, Lead, Supervisor, and Inspector for 30 years at General Electric Company.
She loved music and dancing. Whenever she would hear music, she was the first to dance at any gathering.
Amelia will be missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and many other family members.
On February 20th a rosary will be held at 7:00 PM at Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA.
A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM on February 21st at St. Maria Goretti Church, 2980 Senter Rd. San Jose, CA. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
