“When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room. Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long. And not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me... but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take. And each must go alone. It’s all part of the master plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds. Miss me... but let me go.”
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our cherished father, Andres Garcia, he departed peacefully in the comfort of his home on April 30, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born on November 20, 1942, in San Angelo, Texas, Andres’s life was a testament to love, wisdom, and dedication to his family and community. He married his beloved wife, Naomi Garcia, before relocating to California. Andres was a man of God, known for his exceptional integrity. He was renowned for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering support for those he cared about.
For two decades, Andres proudly served as a Ford factory supervisor, where he earned the respect of his colleagues and the affection of his friends. After his tenure at Ford he embarked on a new journey, owning and operating his upholstery and body shop business. In his free time, Andres found joy in playing his harmonica, sharing stories of his youthful days, engaging in jokes, and singing songs. His happiness was truly evident when surrounded by his loved ones.
Andres is survived by his children Sandra Baizas, Sylvia Baizas, and Gary Garcia; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters. All of them will carry forward his legacy of compassion, resilience, and generosity.
A funeral service will be held on June 4, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial, commencing at 9:00 AM. We cordially invite all to attend and celebrate the remarkable life of Andres Garcia.
His absence will be deeply felt, and his memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
