Angelica J. Quinonez

Angelica was 50 years of age and was born in Santiago Papasquiaro, Durango Mexico June 24th. She passed away here in San Jose, Ca on August 1st fighting the hardest fight in her life. She was diagnosed with cancer and fought for 2 long years and she had a strong will to live and she died still wanting to fight, still wanting to live but she could not take anymore pain and suffering .

When I think of my mom, Angelica the first thing that comes to mind is how much she cared for others. She dedicated her life to taking care of other people, she had over 15 years of being a nurse assistant; working in nursing homes and hospitals. Her favorite place was Los Gatos Community Hospital where she worked on the oncology unit and it was then when I realized she had so much compassion and patience for the people she cared for. She would tell us stories and about the patients she cared for.

Angelica was a proud mother of 3 children and even a prouder grandmother of 3 grandchildren. She was always very fun, loving and hardworking mother; she always did her best in providing for her family. She loved to spend time with her grand babies, always taking them to the beach, Chuck E Cheese or amusement parks. Angelica will always be survived and remembered by her children; Byanka , Crystal and Larry; her grandkids Yahshua, Damien, and Dulce ; and also by her mother Martha .

Angelica will forever be missed by her many friends and family .
