Angelo was born to Antonio and Angela La Placa in Falkner, New York, the youngest of 9 children. He moved to Jamestown, New York, where he met and married the love of his life, Margaret E. Perry, in 1952, after serving in the US Army. Together they moved their family to El Cajon, California, and then to Santa Clara, California in 1964. His loving wife Margaret preceded his death in 1985. They are now reunited in the love they once shared.
Angelo was an entrepreneur, owning several small businesses and a delicatessen, which was his lifelong dream. He loved sharing time with his Italian family and friends and enjoyed entertaining in his home. He had a heart of gold and a smile that warmed your heart.
