Arnold Nisco Mariano, age 55 was called home by our Lord rather unexpectedly after losing a difficult battle with Covid, on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Regional Hospital in San Jose. Our hearts and souls are heavy with his absence.
Arnold was born March 18, 1966, in the Philippines, raised in Hawaii, and moved to California as a young man where he later fell in love, and married Sharon, the love of his life. He was a kind and loving father, a devoted husband, an amazing grandfather, and a genuinely wonderful human being. Arnold touched many lives and was loved by all who knew him. He was known for his sense of humor and his compassionate spirit. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed at the company where he worked.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon and his children, Chrissey (Dan), Will (Nasi), and Nate, and his grandchildren, Jacob, Billy, and Aiden. Aside from being survived by his wife, children and grandchildren; Arnold also leaves behind his father Victor, as well as his brother Richard (Dana), sister Fevelyn (Ben), and their children, along with many other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten. He is preceded in death, by his beloved mother, Festividad.
Arnold was an avid golfer and Sharks fan, as well as a devout Christian. His family meant more to him than anything else in all the world, and when he wasn’t golfing, working, or watching sports, he loved spending time with family and friends. He traveled with his wife to visit his children and grandchildren in their camper as often as they could.
Arnold stands in our hearts as a reminder of strength, love, and compassion. Though we will mourn him daily, we know that we will be reunited in time.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Lima Family Erikson Chapel, 710 Willow Street in San Jose, California.
