Arnulfo was a Field Combat Medic during the Korean War, he received his medic training at The Medical Field Service School at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. During his time in service he received the Combat Medic Badge, Korean Service Medal, 5 Bronze Campaign Stars, and the Distinguished Unit Emblem. He was very proud of his military service.
After Marrying Ignacia Calderon in March of 1957 they moved to San Jose California to begin their lives together. There he would stay until his death. Arnulfo is survived by his wife of 58 years Ignacia C. Tello, his daughter Rebecca Tello of San Jose, his son Francisco Tello and daughter-In-law Evangelina D. Tello of San Jose, his granddaughter Amanda Marie Rawson and her husband Brendan Rawson, his grandson John Alexander Tello of San Jose.
Arnulfo is preceded in death by his father Gil Tello, Mother Antonia Morales, brothers Juan Morales Tello, Nieves Morales Tello, and Sisters, EpifaniaTello and Esiquia Corpus.

Interment with military honors will be at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella,CA on Friday the 13th of November 2015 at 12:30 pm.
