

The funeral service will be held at 10am on Sunday, October 18th at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Debbie Uharriet will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9am to 10 am immediately preceding the service at Grace Chapel at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Burial will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Memorial Park at 11am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Oak Hill Funeral and Memorial Park.
Ben was born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 23, 1951. He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in San Francisco and continued on to receive a BA Degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
Ben was married to May Gee on June 24,1973; they were married 47 years.
Ben worked as a software engineer for Control Data Corporation, Four-Phase Systems, various startups and was an independent computer consultant before joining Hewlett-Packard from which he retired in 2007for after working in the computer industry for 33 years. Ben had a sly sense of humor and a love of technology. He enjoyed photography, road bicycling, building complex Lego projects, and was an excellent gourmet cook.
Ben is survived by his wife May, grandchildren Nicolas, Isabella, and Eli, his mother Sue Gee, sisters Zanna Lucy, Mona Liu, Ina Chan and brothers Philip Gee and Mitchell Gee, daughters Karen Atwood, and Kimberly Ramos, four nieces and eight nephews, and four grand-nieces and eight grand-nephews, and other family and friends.
Ben is preceded in death by his sister Lena Gee, brother Sam Gee, and his father Num Gee.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of Ben Gee wishes to thank White Blossom Care Center for their skilled and compassionate care.
