Laura E. Mc Clanahan. She attended school in San Jose,California and graduated from
Abraham Lincoln High school in 1947 and went on to attend San Jose state college from
1949-50 and later attended De Anza community college where she earned an AA degree.
Berniece married Robert Mowery in 1949 and they enjoyed many hobbies together including
hunting, fishing, and traveling. Berniece had a few jobs over the years including accounting and
various administrative positions some which required a security clearance, such as her job with
Lockheed. Berniece also ran her own small business, Mowery mini farms for many years.
Berniece was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years-Robert Mowery and also by her
parents and siblings Richard Mc Clanahan, Loraine Boles and Marilyn Elliott.
Berniece is survived by multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was a wonderful woman who will be missed greatly.
