Bessie was the beloved mother of Juliann D'Ambrosio, Jane Ciardelli, and the late Joann Meere. Mother-in-law to John D'Ambrosio. Devoted grandmother to Johnny, Danielle and JR, Mikey, Jan and Derek. Cherished great grandmother of Alyssa.
In the 50's she worked at Shurra's Candy Shop which is still on the Alameda as a chocolate dipper. She always worked in the food service industry until the age of 70. She was happiest going to flea markets and garage sales with her late husband George and their little dog Booty. She loved cooking especially for her grandchildren. She made the best rocky road in town.
