

Cam Ho, our loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away on June 7th 2024 in San Jose, CA at the age of 90. Cam was born October 21st 1933 in Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. After graduating high school, he joined the army and served in the South Vietnam Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a lieutenant colonel by the time the war ended in 1975. This event also interrupted his higher study at the Law University in Saigon.
Following the end of the war, Cam had spent 9 years in North Vietnam's re-education camps, endured hard labor, suffered physical and mental mistreatment. His health had declined after the release from the camps.
Cam and his family came to the U.S. in 1992 and settled in Boston, MA. Due to his health condition, he later moved to a warmer climate in San Jose, CA. He loved gardening, especially enjoyed growing flowers, vegetables and herbs. He was always happy sharing his homegrown produce with neighbors and friends.
Cam was preceded in death by both of his parents, his first wife Cuc T. Mai, and his middle son, Duc M. Ho. He is survived by his wife, Thu M. Tran, his daughters Hong T. Ho, Ngoc A. Ho, Tuong-Vi M. Ho, Lan P. Ho, Jennifer D. Ho, his sons Quang M. Ho, Tuan M. Ho, Tony Triet M. Ho, and his stepchildren Hoa Nguyen and Hien Nguyen. Cam also left behind his brothers, Xuan Ho, Can Ho, Anh Ho, Hung Ho, Yen Ho, Thuc Ho and his sisters Ha T. Ho and Hai T. Ho.
The funeral service will be held on Friday 6/28/2024 from 9:00 AM PST - 2:00 PM PST at
Sunshine Chapel,
Oak Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park,
300 Curtner Ave, San Jose,
CA 95125,
followed by the cremation service at 2:30 PM PST. The family respectfully asks guests and friends to refrain from sending flowers.
