Went by: Carol not Miriam, she was know as Carol
She was one of 6 siblings, which only my uncle Walter is still alive.
Her childhood was surrounded by a full live and fun times with her siblings, they where hardships but a very close nit family.
Carol became an elementary school teacher, but she was most proud of being our mom and my dads partner.
Carol had an unbending faith in God and His infinity mercy. I don’t remember one day with out seeing her pray for her family and kids specially the kids, and this didn’t change, cause while she was living with me, I will wake up to hear her praying again for all of our souls.
She had a child like curiosity, and wanted to see the world and embrace everything new, as long if it was next to her family.
Carol was married to Salvador Rodas for 51 years, and they where always together and always embarking in new adventures. When each of her kids moved to california they where eager to come over to visit as much as they could until one day they got tired of couch surfing between us kids that they bought a house near my brother in modesto with out even seeing it, everything was done from Guatemala City, that was how adventurers and family devoted they where. When Salvador her husband died 5 years ago she moved in with her younger daughter Carol, her sadness of loosing her partner weight on her spirit, but being surrounded by her family and grandkids gave her life. They moved to california permanently 10 years ago to be close to their family.
I, Carol Bonilla her younger daughter was honored to have loved her and hold her hand through this past 5 years, my love for her only grew stronger and became her friend, daughter and was able to give her all the love she deserved.
She always waited for Sundays cause my sister will visit with her daughters and she was full of happiness eagerness each Sundays cause Nancy will come and she will be surrounded by her loved ones, the same as when she will come out to tell me that my brother was going to pick her up to go out.
She is survived by her 3 kids: Nancy, Salvador and Carol, and daughter in law Karlita (Salvadors Wife), and sons in laws, Hans (Nancy’s Husband) and Gabriel (Carols husband).
Grand kids:
Nancys:
Tatiana Rose

And nieces and nephews too.
Her last words where: “Did you save me some cake?” and a kiss to her forehead, after a magnificent easter dinner surrounded by her family.
Her death was merciful and full of love (God did answer her prayers).
