I worked with her back in the 1990's when we both worked in the high-tech industry. She didn't go by Cindy Nguyen back then however.  She was a very beautiful and friendly woman. Extremely saddened to hear about this.

Hi chi Cindy, I have missed your voice on 1290 AM for the past weeks, and will miss it for many years to come.  Never had a chance to meet and know you.  And that's a regret of a lifetime. I'm a co-worker of Vy, Cindy's niece. I'm shocked about what has happened, and I want to express my deepest sympathy.

It's hard to believe it but it is true. Cindy da bo San Jose ra di den mot mien vien xu, bo lai dang sau gia dinh,con cai va be ban than thuong voi mot niem cam xuc khon nguoi. Vinh biet Cindy.Mong nhieu an lanh den voi Cindy noi vung dat moi. Cau nguyen chung cho nhau. Mot thinh gia cua Cindy.

I didn't know of Cindy but heard of her death today. to her family and friends I am sorry for your loss. it was a senseless crime, against a hardworking American citizen.
