I remember Ray taking wonderful photos of the Red Hat ladies at our luncheons. He was generous with
his time and photography expertise which was very much appreciated by our Red Hat club, Charlotte's Harlots.

I remember cousin Ray as the handsomest man I had ever seen; he was a younger vision of his dad Everett. I grew up admiring him and periodically gazing at his picture in dress uniform. Even though Ray was 17 years older than I, our paths would cross occasionally at his parents' Walnut Grove farm, when my family was fortunate enough to join his in fabled Sunday country dinners. Unfortunately, our roads in life took us different geographical directions, and the last time I saw Ray was in the '90's, when we were visiting our daughter's family in the Bay area. Seldom do we realize that any visit may be our last.
    Rest in peace, cousin. One day I'll see you again.

Ray always impressed us with his life and background and devotion to Lions Clubs International and the Cupertino DeAnza Lions specifically. His tireless work on behalf of those less fortunate not only made him a devoted Lion, but, a personal friend to many of us. He is dearly missed and will remain in the hearts of the DeAnza Lions forever. May God bless him and have mercy on his soul.

We always loved and admired Uncle Raymond. He was my favorite uncle whom I greatly admired. He was married to one great talented and fun lady, Aunt Charlotte. You two have had a beautiful legacy through your family and careers/activities in beautiful San Jose. 

Being that I live so far away in Tennessee, I did not get to see you guys as often as I would have liked. But just knowing you guys were "out west in California" was a great comfort to me. 

Uncle Raymond truly has had a wonderful life on earth and was truly blessed. God surrounded him by people who dearly loved and admired him.
