Our beloved father, Cristobal Cardenas, returned home to peace on July 12, 2026, surrounded by the love that carried him through 84 beautiful years. His gentle presence lives on in his devoted wife, Leticia, their four children, nine grandchildren, three great‑grandchildren, and two more little ones soon to join the family he cherished so deeply.
Cristobal was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila on July 25, 1941. From the moment he and Leticia joined their lives, they built a bond that lasted 62 years — a lifetime of shared strength, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their journey took them from Eagle Pass, Texas, where they began their young life together, to San Jose, California, where they spent the last 60 years creating a home filled
with warmth, resilience, and love.
We will gather to honor Cristobal’s life at Oak Hill, 300 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, on July 29 from 9:00–10:30am for viewing and final goodbyes.
Church services will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 2020 E San Antonio St, San Jose, CA 95116, from 11:00am–12:00pm, with burial services returning to Oak Hill at 12:30pm.
A reception will be held afterward in Oak Hill Center, Rooms 2 and 3, where stories, memories, and love can be shared.
