

Daniel Anthony Palermo Jr., beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on October 14, 1953, Daniel was a lifelong resident of San Jose, California, where he built a life rich with love, laughter, and meaningful connections.
Daniel was known for his generous spirit, sharp wit, and steadfast loyalty. He had a way of making everyone feel like family, and he carried himself with quiet strength, humor, and compassion. He was the kind of man who showed his love through his actions—always ready to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or simply share a good story over a meal.
Daniel lived life with passion and purpose. He had many loves, each reflecting his zest for life and deep appreciation for the world around him. He loved the color green, a nod to his love for the outdoors, where he found peace and joy in hunting and fishing. He also loved farming, taking pride in hard work and the satisfaction of seeing things grow.
A proud Italian through and through, Daniel cherished his Italian heritage, his love of Italian food, and his connection to the Italian Men’s Club and YMI, where he found camaraderie and lifelong friendships. His love of travel brought him countless memories and bonds that he treasured deeply.
Daniel was also a man of history and tradition—he enjoyed Westerns, had a fascination with Civil War history, and carried a strong sense of patriotism that reflected his deep love for his country.
More than anything, Daniel loved his family. His family was the heart of his world, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched with his kindness and devotion.
Daniel’s presence will be profoundly missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held in San Jose, California, to honor Daniel and the remarkable life he lived. Details will be shared with family and friends.
