Penny I have already talked to you but I just wanted to add that dave was my best friend for 3 to 4 years while in the navy and after and his spirit will always be with me! He inspired me in ways and he was always fun to play guitars with. I remember when he bought a yamaha guitar for $50 when we were in japan and he was on top of the world! Even though I have been back in iowa for about 12 years we still called each other and keep in touch on facebook. Penny he was like a brother to me and I will never forget him. Penny I know you are staying strong and I will continue to pray for you and your family!

Dave was a nice person . Its a great shock for the family but its the reality every one has to accept that Dave is not among us any more. He will always be remembered by his fellows and friends. May his soul rest in peace. Amen

I would like to extend my condolences to the Anderson family.  I flew with Dave back in the late 70s. We lost touch until finding each other a couple years ago via social media....and now we've lost him....but we have memories...perhaps not the same as his touch or voice or the sight of his smile...but nevertheless a memory we can preserve.
